We are pleased to announce that the Warsaw Institute for Strategic Initiatives introduced the next part of Programme for Development of Polish Defence Capabilities, which is dedicated to Naval Capabilities. First workshop took place on October 10 and was concerning Coastal Defence. The first part of the appointment was devoted to combat and logistical support of naval forces and the second to navy vessels. The participants included representatives of the Polish Navy, state administration, media, arms industry, military universities and independent experts. Second workshops will take place next week in the Polish Naval Academy in Gdynia. Detailed conclusions of the workshops of Naval Capability will be presented by the Warsaw Institute for Strategic Initiatives in a summative report.
Programme for Development of Polish Defence Capabilities has been granted honorary patronage by the Minister of National Defence, Minister of Maritime Economy and Inland Navigation and Ministry of Digital Affairs, as well as media patronages of Defence24 and Nowa Technika Wojskowa journal. The main aim of the project is to select and highlight the priorities and recommendations essential to the development of the Polish Armed Forces.
