We are pleased to announce that the second of the workshops concerning Naval Capabilities, an element of the Programme for Development of Polish Defence Capabiities, took place on October 17. The appointment was dedicated to multinational naval cooperation. The aim of the first part of the workshops was to determine conception of cooperation and to evaluate aspirations level of polish international contribution while during the second part there was discussion about Polish Navy technical capabilities in this domain. The participants included representatives of the Polish Navy, state administration, media, arms industry, military universities and independent experts. The meeting took place in Polish Naval Academy Senate Auditorium. Detailed conclusions of both workshops will be presented by the Warsaw Institute for Strategic Initiatives in a summative preliminary report.
Programme for Development of Polish Defence Capabilities has been granted honorary patronage by the Minister of National Defence, Minister of Maritime Economy and Inland Navigation and Ministry of Digital Affairs, as well as media patronages of Defence24 and Nowa Technika Wojskowa journal. The main aim of the project is to select and highlight the priorities and recommendations essential to the development of the Polish Armed Forces.
