Stefan Markowski since 2014 has been a professor of economics and management at the School of Information Technology and Management (UiTM) in Rzeszow, where he currently serves as head of the Management Faculty. Since 2011, Stefan is also a visiting professor at the Centre for Migration Research, University of Warsaw, where he currently heads the research team within the project OPUS 10 "The impact of the accumulation of property for economic migrants for their mobility and integration: Polish migrants in the European Union and Australia," funded by the National Science Centre. In 2011-2014, he was a professor at the European School of J. Tischner in Krakow. In the second half of 2017 years Stefan Markowski will also be an Eisenhower Fellow at the NATO Defence College in Rome.
Professor Markowski is also an Visiting Fellow at the Centre for European Studies of the Australian National University in Canberra. His current interests include teaching at UNSW: strategic procurement, logistics engineering, economics and management of national defence. In addition, his research interests in the field of defence focused on the issues of proliferation, procurement, industrial policy and trade in the field of national defence and international mobility of factors of production, including technology and knowledge. In addition, Professor Markowski also deals with labour mobility and migration.
