We are pleased to announce that on October 22 and 23 Warsaw Institute for Strategic InitiativesInstitute, together with the representatives of Center of Foreign Mission Veterans and the Military Ordinariate of Poland, inaugurated a new edition of the project „Live history – a meeting with a Veteran”. Meetings with the youth from Lower Silesian Voivodeship were organized in Oleśnica and Oława. Several hundred students listened to the presentation prepared by the Education and Tradition Section from the Center of Foreign Mission Veterans. During the meetings, Priest Lt.-Col Władysław Jasica, retired Sgt. Czesław Sokołek and Chor. Mariusz Sybilski have shared their experiences from foreign missions. Students could also participate in a video-conference with Michał Matraj - a paramedic recently serving in Afghanistan. Student’s knowledge was also examined by Chor. A. Korus - chief of the Education and Tradition Section . The board game „Polish Army – Foreign Missions” was one of the prizes.
