In the course of two discussion panels, the experts examined the case of helicopters and air support. The participants included independent experts, military academy scholars, and representatives of the army, defence industry and state administration. Detailed conclusions of the workshops of Land Forces Potential subgroup will be presented in a preliminary report.
Programme for Development of Polish Defence Capabilities has been granted honorary patronage by the Minister of National Defence, Ministry of Digital Affairs, and the Ministry of Maritime Economy and Inland Navigation, as well as media patronages of Defence24 and Nowa Technika Wojskowa journal. The main aim of the project is to select and highlight the priorities and recommendations essential to the development of the Polish Armed Forces.
Each of the areas will consist of series of workshops focusing on the analysis of the current state and the development of recommendations, all of which will be described and concluded in final reports.
The main objective of the project is to approach the issue of armament purchases with a plan adjusted for the desired capabilities, in contrast with a model of threat anticipation or assuming equipment replacement in 1:1 ratio. The new approach aims to prepare recommendations that will determine the most effective way of using the limited resources and budget in order to create complex defence capabilities for Poland.
