We are pleased to announce that the second of the workshops concerning Capability to operate in cyberspace, an element of the Programme for Development of Polish Defence Capabiities, took place on June 22. The first part of the workshops was devoted to private-public partnership in the context of NIS Directive (The Directive on security of network and information systems) and the second to active international cooperation in cyberspace. The participants included representatives of the army, state administration, civil and military universities, non-governmental organizations and independent experts. Next workshops, in the form of a simulation game, will take place at the beginning of July. Detailed conclusions of the workshops of Capability to operate in cyberspace subgroup will be presented by the Warsaw Institute for Strategic Initiatives in a preliminary report in autumn.
Programme for Development of Polish Defence Capabilities has been granted honorary patronage by the Minister of National Defence, Ministry of Digital Affairs, and the Ministry of Maritime Economy and Inland Navigation, as well as media patronages of Defence24 and Nowa Technika Wojskowa journal. The main aim of the project is to select and highlight the priorities and recommendations essential to the development of the Polish Armed Forces.
